IDT Introduces Thermal Sensor for DDR3 Memory Modules to Expand Cloud Computing Portfolio

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 9, 2011– Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today introduced a new family of low-power, precision temperature sensors targeted at Double Data Rate 2 and 3 (DDR2 and DDR3) memory modules, Solid State Drives (SSD), and computing motherboards. These new devices complement IDT’s PCI Express®, signal integrity, flash memory controller, power management, and timing products to offer a rich set of application optimized enterprise computing solutions.

          The digital thermal sensors support both a 3.3V and lower-power 2.5V SM-Bus and I2C interface for improved system power efficiency and compatibility with both existing and emerging serial bus controllers. For further power savings, advanced on-die power management features minimize power consumption during critical modes, such as when mobile or fault-tolerant enterprise systems are operating on battery power. The new product family includes a stand-alone temperature sensor (TS3000GB2), as well as one with an integrated 256-byte EEPROM array (TSE2002GB2) on a single, monolithic die for non-volatile storage of user information, such as system configuration data for the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) feature of the memory module.

          The devices continue IDT’s tradition of industry-leading temperature accuracy by exceeding the requirements set forth by the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) JC42.4 specification for Grade B temperature sensors, providing±1°C temperature sensing accuracy over the entire temperature range of -20°C to +125°C. In addition, an innovative high-performance analog-to-digital converter (ADC) enables up to 12-bit (0.0625°C) programmable resolution with industry-leading conversion time, dramatically improving precision across the full temperature range.

IDT to Present on CMOS Oscillators for Crystal Replacement at the 2011 ICFS / EFTF Joint Conference

IDT Expands Industry-Leading RapidIO® Gen2 Switch Portfolio

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 29, 2011–Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced it has added the sixth member to its industry-leading portfolio of RapidIO® Gen2 switches. The intermediately-sizedCPS-1432comes in response to the strong demand for RapidIO Gen2 switches fueled by the prolific expansion of 4G wireless infrastructure and the growing industry adoption of RapidIO for defense, aerospace, server, medical imaging, and video applications.

          The architecture of the new IDTCPS 1432provides customers in these high-growth market segmentsIDT CPS-1432 S-RIO Gen2 Switchan upgrade path for IDT’s industry benchmark Gen1 RapidIO solutions that is smaller in form factor and consumes 40% less power per 10 Gigabit of data. This enables customers to meet the competing demands of higher performance, smaller size, and lower power in energy-conscious applications. The device supports eight x4 ports at up to 6.25 Gbaud per lane, providing twice the performance per port when compared to IDT’s high performance Serial RapidIO (S-RIO) 1.3 switches. The CPS 1432 also offers more than twice the bandwidth per port compared to 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches and has an industry-leading latency of 100ns. As a result, it was recently selected by Curtiss-Wright Controls for use in their latest DSP platform for the rugged deployed embedded military market.

IDT RapidIO® Gen2 Switch Selected for High Speed Interconnect on Texas Instruments’ TCI6616 Wireless Base Station Evaluation Module

Now, designers can begin development on TI’s TCI6616 wireless base station System-on-Chip (SoC) for low latency, high performance and robust features to prototype 3G/4G wireless systems, significantly improving time to market. The inherent efficiency and software scalability of RapidIO in clustering large numbers of digital signal processors (DSPs) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) on boards and over backplanes makes it the most effective interconnect choice for today’s wireless systems.

          The IDTCPS-1616belongs to IDT’s extensive portfolio of RapidIO Gen2 switches, supporting up to 20 Gbps per link for use as a chip-to-chip, board-to-board, and chassis-to-chassis interconnect. RapidIO enables OEMs in the 4G wireless and industrial markets to design embedded systems with clusters of DSPs that communicate in a peer-to-peer fashion while also providing high reliability, very low 100ns cut through latency, and simplified system memory maps. The use of RapidIO in TI’s TCI6616 EVM is a testament to the widespread adoption of the interconnect standard within the wireless infrastructure market.

IDT RapidIO® Switch Selected by RADVISION for SCOPIA Video Conference System

RADVISION selected IDT’s RapidIO switch product because of its high performance, low latency, and robust feature set which enables them to deliver uncompromised high-definition multipoint continuous presence.

         Today’s high-performance video and imaging systems require higher resolution and more frames per second for the best user experience. Existing semiconductors, such as DSPs and FPGAs support the processing, but demand a specialized digital“pipe” to transfer large amounts of data in real-time. IDT Signal-Conditioning Repeater First to Achieve Full SATA 6G Compliance

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 1, 2011– Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced the industry’s first signal-conditioning repeater to pass all tests required for full compliance with the Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) 6Gb/s standard for Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Solid State Drive (SSD) interfaces. As the first fully-compliant repeater component, it simplifies system design and enhances reliability of any SATA application.

          The SATA storage interface is the popular, standard interface for a majority of storage components and systems today.  New 6G SATA devices are in the early stage of wide-spread adoption and represent an important performance upgrade from the 3Gb/s SATA standard.  The increase in signaling speed can result in signal integrity issues that can be remedied by IDT’s high-quality signal-conditioning repeaters. The IDT89HP0602Qadds to a broad set of signal conditioning solutions, and is ideal for use in computing platforms such as servers, workstations, desktop, notebook PCs, and enterprise storage systems to ensure good signal integrity and reliable system operation.

          The IDT 2-channel (1-lane) 6Gb/s SATA 89HP0602Q repeater enables 6Gb/s-per-channel operation over the same distance as older 3Gb/s implementations across system backplanes or over long cables in eSATA applications. IDT’s products improve system performance and reliability, and lower bill-of-materials costs by reducing overall design complexity.

(IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced thatit will be exhibiting industry-leading products from its expanding product portfolio at the 2011 Embedded World Exhibition and Conference on March 1-3 in Nuremberg, Germany.

          IDT will be demonstrating a variety of products for embedded applications, including PCI Express® interconnect solutions and select members from its comprehensive timing portfolio, including the highly versatile VersaClock™ III programmable clock family. In addition, the IDT 3CP0C02 all-silicon oscillator will be featured at the show. The IDT 3CP0C02 replaces quartz crystal-based oscillators with a monolithic CMOS IC at a frequency accuracy of 100 ppm and below, and at very thin form factors without the use of any mechanical frequency source or PLL. The product is specifically designed to work with next-generation interfaces, such as 1Gb Ethernet, SAS, SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0) and PCI Express.

         IDT will also be demonstrating some of its new mixed-signal products, including high-performance signal conditioning repeaters for multi gigabit, serial-differential protocols as well as its family of PureTouch® capacitive touch controllers and its single-layer multi-touch capacitive touch screen solution.

IDT to Present and Exhibit Advanced Mixed-Signal Products at IIC-China

SAN JOSE, Calif., February 10, 2011– Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced that it will be exhibiting its latest products at theIIC-China Conference and Exhibition in Shenzhen, Chinaon February 24-26, 2011. IDT Introduces Industry’s First Single-Layer Multi-Touch Capacitive Touch Screen Controller

SAN JOSE, Calif., January 31, 2011– Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions,today announced the industry's first touch screen controller IC optimized for IDT's proprietary single-layer multi-touch projected capacitive touch screen technology. This new touch screen technology and controller solution revolutionizes the market by offering atruesingle-layer solution, not requiring cross-over isolation points that other solutions require, yet still maintaining full multi-touch capability. The result is a lower-cost total solution that does not sacrifice features or performance.Typical applications include mobile handsets, personal navigation devices, and handheld gaming platforms with screen sizes up to five inches.     
The IDTLDS7000andLDS7001are high-performance, multi-touch, full resolution touch screen controller ICs featuring up to 30 and 35 sensor channels, respectively. Both controllers operate at a speedy 8ms data rate for quick response to touch inputs to improve the user's experience and enable advanced applications that require fast response times. The IDT LDS7000 family's proprietary algorithms eliminate undesired multi touch ghosting, providing accurate individual X and Y coordinates in dual touch mode, a critical requirement for customers using host-interpreted custom gestures to differentiate their end product. The devices' analog front-end design provides a high level of noise rejection performance that negates the need for a separate touch screen shield layer for most applications, lowering the overall solution cost even further.

In addition, the single-layer solution offers improved backlight transmittance, while the devices' low power modes maximize battery life in portable electronics.
